Chopper Tattoo Website Review

Chopper Tattoo really is a joke. The first thing you will notice is that when you try to leave the site, without purchasing, you get bombarded by several popups trying to scam you into buying. This is a sign of things to come.

When you pay for membership, and log in for the first time, you are again bombarded, this time with doggy offers and advertising for various crap you won't be interested in. You are forced to click past these to get to promised 1000's of tattoo designs. Unfortunately the disappointments don't stop there.

The first thing you will notice about the tattoos is that the quality is extremely inconsistent (mostly poor) and the sizes of most of the designs are way to small to be of use to a tattooist.

This made me suspicious and upon entering the names of some of the designs into 'google images' search engine I could locate most of the designs myself.

So basically it seems that someone has just gone around the internet and stolen all the tattoo designs they could find. I would guess they didn't get permission and are violating copyright laws. I also found some of the images at royalty free stock image sites like iStockphoto.com. Using their images here is clearly a violation of there licensing terms.

So the bottom line is Chopper Tattoo is a scam. The only use it has is that it has collected all the tattoo design images on the web into one place and categorized them. If that's the sort of thing you don't mind paying for then go for it. Otherwise stay well clear.
